Grant O’Connor, 32, was rumored to have prematurely suspended a conversation with a work colleague this evening. “I thought the train was pulling into my station, so I wished him a good weekend”, O’Connor told reporters outside his apartment. However, O’Connor said that he “underestimated” the time it would take for the subway train to come to a halt.
“I didn’t want to re-initiate conversation”, O’Connor, a tax accountant, admitted. “I can’t stand that guy”.
Sources indicate that these circumstances caused him a great deal of stress. “He was clearly agitated”, said one onlooker, who wished to remain anonymous. “At one point he was blowing his nose furiously”, said the man. “he then looked intently at his wristwatch”.
“It was an awkward situation for everyone”, O’Connor told reporters outside his residence. “I’m just glad to be home”.
