Tiger was a 36-hole leader at the 2012 U.S. Open Championship at the Olympic Club in San Francisco but he struggled on the weekend and finished tied for 21st at 7-over par.

As a result of this loss, he has never lost before if he was tied or leading after two rounds, Tiger Wood has announced that he will follow his mother Kultida Woods’s advice and go to a Thai monastery for three months. Tiger is a Buddhist and he has announced that his stay in the monastery would help him recover from his problems of the last three years.

Tiger fully understands what walking into any monastery for the first time means. Day to day distractions in the monastery are exchanged for quiet meditation and experiencing a side of Thailand not seen by Tiger before. It will involve him leaving the old world behind in exchange for a new, far different one. The monastery does not allow any distractions and does not allow a computer, cell phone, iPhone and of course there is no access to women.
