On winning majority in both Congress and the Senate, in a closed door meeting of all Republican members of the Congress and the Senate recently held in Washington, Republican leaders John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, announced that the Republican Party will not put too much effort in winning the 2016 Presidential election. Instead, during 2015 and 2016, the Republicans will more effectively fight the Democratic White House and making President Barack Obama’s life very difficult. By having majority in both houses, the Party believes it can achieve more in opposition than by being in the White House.
The leaders noted that Republicans have a lot of issues they are proud to fight for.
The major issues for the Republicans are the Party’s war against gay and lesbians, against Hispanics and ensuring no illegals get amnesty, against women, against Democratic plan to expand the economy, against climate change and the environment, against research & development in science and technology, against Obamacare national health care plan, against Medicare and Medicaid, against family planning, against Darwin’s theory of evolution, against abortion and against providing more funding for education. The Republican noted that their agenda is not always negative since they strongly support major tax cuts for the wealthy and for major corporations. The Republicans also support strong marriages, strong fatherhood and abstinence. Furthermore, they want theory of creation to be taught in all schools. The Republicans also support more community colleges and technical education rather than universities. They support private college loans with insurance for all students. Finally, the Republican Party strongly supports the right of individuals to own any type of gun without registration.
